Country Wedding Fair Highlights
Lake Pepin Area Services October 8

Maiden Rock, WI—Maidenwood Wedding Center and Country Inn will be hosting the area’s first annual Country Wedding Fair 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8.

Maidenwood is an 80-acres country estate located at N447 244th St., Stockholm, just off the Great River Road, Highway 35, between Maiden Rock and Stockholm, WI.

The free event is designed to introduce engaged couples to the full array of wedding and reception services available along the Wisconsin side of Lake Pepin. Samples, discounts and representatives will be on hand from area bands, bed and breakfasts, bridal registries, cake makers, caterers, DJs, dressmakers, florists, life coaches, limousine providers, motels, musicians, photographers, rentals companies, salons and spas and wineries.

“Our countryside is so beautiful, it’s wedding heaven,” says Deb Hansen, owner and operator of Maidenwood. “Anyone planning a country wedding would be thrilled with this setting. We also want couples and their families to know our area can provide every service needed for a perfect event—from the bridesmaids’ luncheon, rehearsal, ceremony and reception to the gift-opening and farewell brunch.”

Also featured during the Country Wedding Fair is Lisa Kuchinski, a certified marriage officiant, who will speak at 2 p.m. on “Keeping Your Love Alive Forever.”
